For the first time, Gamatronic conducted its North American distributor’s seminar in Denver, Colorado. The event was held from December 8 to December 11 and was well attended.
Some 60 professionals representing 24 companies from all over the United States and Canada that have recently joined our network of distributors gathered together in the beautiful, snowy, 1 Mile High City.
The event was hosted at the Hyatt Regency Hotel by MaxPower Corporation, a Gamatronic partner and Master Distributor in the United States.
Two parallel courses were provided during the seminar:
• Technical course that certified those who successfully completed the course as
"Gamatronic Certified Service Providers".
• Commercial course and sales training for sales executives that certified those
who successfully completed the course as "POWER+ Specialists".
Gamatronic first penetrated the North American markets in September 2007 with the 208V UL-certified version of the POWER+. Since that time, we have experienced exponential growth and success in these markets.
A second North American distributor’s seminar is expected to take place in Denver in June 2010.
Gamatronic is scheduled to install two Power + 200 KVA units at the Banco de la Nacion Argentina, which is the main commercial bank in Argentina. The installation will be performed in their new redundant data-center. At the same time, there are plans to also upgrade their existing UPSs in their main data-center.
Gamatronic will supply DC systems (rectifier 1006 with IP2000 systems) for a huge oil and gas company (Exxon Mobil) in Nigeria. We successfully supplied the first 16 sites in December, 2009 and have already confirmed this was just the beginning. Installation of additional systems will be continued in 2010.
