China's National Development and Reform Commission has begun construction of an information service platform for six major passenger rail routes - the Wen Fu, Shi Tai, Fu Xia, Yong Tai Wen, Zheng Xi and Wu Guang lines.

The planned service platform includes a ticketing system, schedule information system, office automation system, "smart card" management system, freight management system and more.

The service platform depends on smooth, reliable and stable power. Power+ UPS systems were chosen for use in the Fujian Section of the Wen Fu Line in August, 2009. The Yong Tai Wen Line choose several more tens of Power+ units. Nearly 200 Power+ units of various power capacities are to be used in the six rail routes to meet diverse needs Pictures.

Reconstruction of the infrastructure at Israel's ports of Ashdod and Haifa has begun. The project includes improving the safety of fuel terminals, reconstruction of the sea front, and rehabilitation of the drainage water treatment system in the passenger terminal docks. 50 million NIS has been budgeted for the work.

As part of this project, the Haifa and Ashdod port authorities have chosen Gamatronic's uPS-SP and Power+ UPS models to provide the main power backup at the ports.

The Gamatronic product exhibition was received very positively by commodity managers and electrical consultants.
