Mozambique – Gamatronic wins integration projects for top African WiMAX operator

Our challenge was to provide a full DC power solution with cabinets for outdoor application.
Gamatronic is providing the modular Power+ UPS for the main data centre, the DC power system and DC/AC inverters for the outdoor site (BTS). All power products are monitored by the Gemsi Gamatronic Monitoring System.
As part of the adaptation, we had to dismantle mini-shelters, transport them to the top of skyscrapers and reassemble them. Gamatronic also provided the air-conditioning units for this project.
This April, Gamatronic already received next PO for WiMAX project continues in Africa.

National Data Center in Korea

Gamatronic recently won the tender to service one of the most prestigious projects in Korea – the National Government Data Center.
We owe a debt of gratitude to our local distributor, Rametronics, for their efforts in securing this project.
The Data Center will house a total UPS capacity of 700 KVA (5 x Power+ Parallel Systems 140KVA each) using a rack-type solution.
After installation, we will publish pictures in one of the forthcoming issues of GamaNews.

Project in Africa

One of Israels leading system integrator companies, has chosen the Gamatronic PS 1006 DC power system as part of its solutions for more than 200 sites in Africa.
The installations in Africa will be monitored by the Gemsi Gamatronic Monitoring System.

Tigo (Millicom) Telecom project in Guatemala
|
|
EIG (Empresa De Ingenieros Guatemaltecos, SA), GAMATRONIC distributor in Guatemala won the project to install approximately 70 Power Systems PS 1006 48VDC for MILICOM International Cellular, one of the largest mobile phone network providers worldwide.

Seminar in Malawi

We held a successful Gamatronic Product Seminar in Blantyre, Malawi in March, attended by 40 participants from a variety of sectors – Telecom, Banking, IT, services and others. We presented a range of tailored solutions for the African market, including modular UPS and DC Rectifier products, as well as control and management solutions. Our representatives were able to answer business-specific questions and to schedule follow-up meetings with the Delta Centre, our local partner in Malawi.
