The year 2008 was a successful year for Gamatronic.
Gamatronic global sales in 2008 grew in two–digit figures.

Year 2008 brought Gamatronic tremendous growth in North America
The main reasons for the growth concur of:
  • Finalization of UL standardization for Power+ UPS Systems
  • Business activities establishment with new partners in Canada
  • Gamatronic strategic distributor in USA cooperation & marketing activities
  • The placement of Power+ Modular system as one of the most power consumption UPS system in the North American market

Prestigious projects; US Navy, Exxon Mobil Corporation, EastLink (telecommunications and entertainment), Sears Tower, Blue Cross Association.

Year 2008 sales show two- digit figure growth spread steadily in all regions worldwide
Highlighted sales activities:

Europe
New markets – Switzerland, Netherlands, Germany.
Gamatronic UK surpassed 2008 sales target in 110%
Prestigious projects: British Petroleum ; Spanish Football League (LA Liga); British Royal Air Force; Budgens supermarkets; Remedica Republic of Macedonia, FN Motol Prague

Africa
Gamatronic sales in Nigeria doubled in comparison to 2008 Prestigious projects: Durban Police HQ in South Africa, Netcom HQ in Lagos, Telkom S.A Data Center in South Africa, Lagos Exchange in Nigeria.

APAC
Gamatronic emerge in Indonesian market. Key Growth: India, Singapore, Indonesia, and Korea. Prestigious projects: Project with Hyundai Auto-Ever, Formula 1 Lane in Singapore, Sakaal Broadcasting HQ in New Mumbai.

LATAM
New markets: Brazil, El Salvador & Costa Rica - new distributor for Power + UPS Systems; Panama & Nicaragua – new distributor. Largest Growth countries: Chile and Uruguay.

Prestigious Projects: VTR Cable TV; Merryl Lynch, Republic Bank of Uruguay (main local bank with several units installed) ,Montevideo Stock Exchange, Tigo Telecom (Millicom), Brazilian Supreme Court of Justice

Main growth of sales-year 2008 was Modular Power+
Gamatronic Systems. Power + increased to 46% of the
Gamatronic total sales.

Gamatronic strategy 2009:

Investments in strengthening development & distribution of Gamatronic worldwide. Despite the worldwide economic downturn Gamatronic expects sales growth in year 2009 as well.

We base this forecast on Gamatronic product leader Power+, sales growth expectations, due to key main advantages, especially in times when "costs reduction" becomes a key factor. Together with Power + price advantages & advanced technology which reduces operational costs; energy bills; maintenance costs; installation costs and total cost of ownership.
